How KCA Mysuru handles 2000 member KYC forms a week with a form endpoint
About KCA Mysuru
The Konkani Christian Association in Mysuru, India, has served its community since 1981. Its website, kcamysuru.com, is where members sign up, update their details and order cultural items. Anselerate sponsored the website as a non profit project.
The problem
Every member has to fill in a KYC form, which means Know Your Customer. It holds their member details. About 2000 people a week use these forms.
The website also has a small shop for cultural items. People place orders, and the team prepares them.
Handling all of this on the website itself would make the site heavy. Every form needs a database, spam checks, emails and file storage. On busy weeks, a heavy site can slow down or stop.
The solution: an HTML form endpoint
KCA Mysuru keeps its own form design on its own pages. Each form simply sends its answers to an Ansel Forms endpoint. An HTML form endpoint is a web address that receives form answers for you.
Member KYC forms
The KYC form sends every answer to the endpoint. Ansel Forms checks it for spam, saves it safely and shows it in the dashboard. The team reads, searches and exports the answers from one place.
Shop orders
The shop cart works the same way. When someone places an order for cultural items, the order goes to its own endpoint, so orders and member forms stay apart.
The results
- The website stays light and fast, because it does not store or process the forms.
- It handles higher traffic on busy weeks, with about 2000 people a week using the forms.
- Members and orders are in one dashboard, with spam checks done for the team.
What we learned
A simple endpoint lets a community website grow without a big server. This idea, and the other case studies, led us to build the Enterprise plan with automation, marketing, surveys and tracking in one place.
